Background: Pastor Ben Thomas was born and brought up in Kizhvaypur, Kerala, India. Since his early childhood, he was raised in a family where he was exposed to the ministry. When the Pentecostal faith reached India in the early 1900’s his family left everything to become ministers of the Gospel. He comes from a rich heritage of pastoral ministry; his grand parents pioneered and pastored many churches and his father became a Church of God Pastor in India.
Pastor Benjamin graduated with a degree in Accounting in India and then migrated to the U.S. in 1985 where he has been a member of QCOG ever since. He pursued his studies in Pastoral Ministry at Lee University of Tennessee to follow his desire to serve the Lord. Pastor Benjamin was working in a management position at the United States Post Office when he received the call from the Lord into full time ministry. For the last 21 years, he has been an active member of the church and has held positions such as Youth Coordinator, Youth Minister, Associate Pastor, and currently as the Senior Pastor. His experiences have taught him to be a dynamic leader, preacher, teacher, missionary, and songwriter.
