Background:
Pastor Jays Abraham a native of Singapore lived in Kerala before moving to Texas. He is married to Geetha Abraham previously a native of Bahrain, who also lived in Kerala for her primary education before migrating to Pennsylvania. They are both 2nd and 3rd generation Pentecostal believers with a very rich heritage. Pastor Jays’ grandfather pastored the Kumbanad Church of God and pioneered churches in Tamil Nadu. In 1987, they moved from Texas to New York. Pastor Jays has a Masters degree (MS) in Manufacturing Engineering from New York & a Bachelor’s degree (BS) in Technology from Houston. Sister Geetha has a Bachelor’s degree (BS) in Health Administration from New York and she works as Registered Respiratory Therapist in a hospital. Pastor Jays held managerial positions in the plastics processing industries, pharmaceutical device manufacturing and electro-mechanical engineering.
In 1999 Pastor Jays became obedient to the Lord’s call to ministry immediately after being baptized in the Spirit. God has since then anointed him to preach his word and minister with the interpretation of tongues and prophetical revelations. Subsequently, the Church of God recognized him in 2003 as an Ordained Minister. In 2004 he resigned from the position of Director of Sales Operations at Perry Ellis to pursue his ministerial passion. Since then, he has been involved in urban evangelism and church ministry. Pastor Jays continues to be a student of the Bible at Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary in Boston.
