Background:
Pastor Jones Mathen is an Ordained Bishop of Church of God, headquartered in Tennessee. He has been a member of Queens Church of God since 1982. He started ministering in the church at different levels including Sunday School Teacher, Sunday School Headmaster, Church Secretary, Associate Pastor, and most recently Senior Minister. Pastor Mathen is blessed with wife Kunjumol, daughter Jency, and son Jensen. His heart’s desire is to accomplish God's will in his life and his ministry is supported through his family’s prayers. Pastor Mathen believes God has a great purpose for this church.

Active Personal Ministries:
According to the divine guidance Pastor Mathen received from the Lord, he started the Divine Prayer Ministry in 1992. Its mission is to preach the Gospel in different parts of the world so that many souls could be won for Christ. Outreaches include establishing Bible schools, planting churches, assisting evangelists going through financial difficulties, constructing houses for the poor, offering assistance for marriage expenses of poor families, and providing support such as clothing and book supplies for poor schoolchildren.

Pastor Mathen has ministered in countries such as India, Oman, Baharain, Dubai, Abudhabi, Sharjah, Ajman, Fujarah, and Zimbabwe - Africa. He goes abroad approximately three times each year and conducts large crusades in various cities. Divine Prayer Ministry has 11 prayer centers in the U.S. and India where groups of people gather together each Monday to pray and receive deliverance from the Lord. God has blessed this ministry by bringing souls into His Kingdom through salvation and baptism, and delivering many people from their problems and sicknesses. Several people also dedicated their lives to be Pastors and Evangelists through the Bible Schools.
