Our Prayer and Counseling Ministry acknowledges the importance of ministering to individuals on a one-on-one basis. “I urge, then, first of all, that requests, prayers, intercession and thanksgiving be made for everyone…” (I Timothy 2:1-2). We believe that Jesus Christ is the only one who can truly release the wounded person from their bondages. This does not invalidate the role of the counselor/pastor as a listener, intercessor and/or instructor of biblical knowledge and godly living, but acknowledges that apart from Christ we are ineffective in accomplishing God’s desire for bringing lasting peace and genuine victory to the wounded soul. Our support includes the following: |
• Personal prayer and counseling • Family counseling • Recovery from addictions • Deliverance ministry • Biblical Direction & Discipleship |
Confidentiality of Prayer and Counseling Prayer requests and counseling are kept confidential. Intercessors are trained to treat ALL prayer requests and counseling discussions as sacred trust. All information coming in is not discussed outside of or with other people not connected with the Prayer and Counseling Ministry. Your prayer requests are important to us, and we want to speak only with God concerning the requests brought to us.

Fasting and Prayer Chain Our monthly fasting and prayer chain allows QCOG members the opportunity to serve others by intercessory prayer. Intercession is asking, or pleading, in behalf of another person. The prayer chain is composed of adult and youth members who spend a scheduled time each month fasting and praying. We desire... • To pray for individuals, families, friends, government leaders, missionaries, church staff and leaders. • To pray for any situation that causes concern or burden to ANY person. • To be obedient to God, who has told us to pray for each other.
