| Sunday School |
Sunday School in QCOG is one of the most important activities of the church. Being the most effective program to put the Great Commission in to action through the Church and to lead our next generation to the Lord and help them grow deep rooted in the Word of God, we spare no effort in providing quality Sunday School education. We feature: |
| • |
Convenient timings - Our Sunday School classes are held between 9.45 am to 10.15 am every Sunday. |
| • |
Experienced and dedicated teachers - All teachers are parents who are well versed in the Bible and are professionals in their secular field. |
| • |
Minimum age difference and smaller classes - Classes are divided in to 8 different groups based on their ages, with class size ranging from 4 to 8 students in each class. |
| • |
Curriculum - Carefully selected curriculums published by Scripture Press Publishers and SSNAK publishing. |
| • |
Extra-curricular activities - Annual field trips, retreats, picnics etc |
| • |
Music - Opportunity to develop musical talents by participating in senior or junior Choir as per age. |
| Proverbs 22:7 states that children will not depart from ways and behaviors instructed into them at an early age and our Sunday School takes seriously the responsibility it shoulders. Our goal is to prepare them to become Godly adults in their bodies, souls and spirits. For more information, you may contact our Sunday School Head Master Br. Joy Cherian or any of our Pastors. |
| Community Sunday School |
QCOG is a church with a vision to reach out to many and spread the love of Jesus Christ to the neighborhood. As a part of this great mission, we have formed the Community Sunday School since 1993. This is a non-denominational Sunday school open to the public. We are open every Sunday from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM. Our vision is to spread the love of Jesus Christ to the young generation and help the community to build the foundation of our youngsters in the love of God.
We have a variety of programs available to the very young age of 3 years and up. This includes teaching them to read, memorize bible verses, coloring pictures, learning bible stories, singing songs, action songs, helping them how to pray independently and learn behavioral things based on bible standard. We do have entertainment programs like watching educational videos, picnics and retreats, Easter and Christmas trips to neighborhood Nursing Homes and children hospitals, etc.
Ms Nalini Mathura, a qualified and well-experienced Sunday school teacher, who is talented to work with little kids, is in charge of the smaller age group from 3 years to 6 years. Besides her, we have a team of well experienced Sunday school teachers for the age group of kindergarten to high school going children under the coordination of the Pastor of the Church and the Head Master.
If you have a child of any age group, please utilize this opportunity, you are very welcome to come and visit us. If you need help to pick up your kids, our volunteers will come and pick up your kids and drop them back when the Sunday school is finished.
For more information you may contact our Community Sunday School Head Master Br. Thomas Mathew or any of our Pastors. |
