Youth Ministry With so many young people struggling with an empty heart and searching for something to fill the void, the youth of Queens Church of God seek to share the love of Christ with the world. Under the banner "Called to stand, Called to serve, and Called to send", the youth ministry of Queens Church of God, hopes to ignite a passion that enables young people to stand on the Word of God, serve others and complete God's great commission. Through prayer we hope to invest in every young person by facilitating the regular training and nurturing of young leaders on building a ministry with a Great Commission passion. The ultimate message of our fellowship is to meet human needs and introduce the lost to Christ. We have regular teen talent programs offering participation in various talent divisions: Art, Bible, Creative Writing, Drama and Music. The purpose of these meetings is to help young people discover their talent; to motivate them to develop that talent, and to encourage them to dedicate that talent to the Lord and use it in His service. Our fellowship is a place dedicated to worship. We join together in His presence to experience a deeper and intimate knowledge of God. We encourage our young people to pursue God with all their heart and make God the priority before all other things. As youth leaders we hope to fan the flame where God's love and grace can inspire our youth to love the lost and eagerly desire to share the good news to their friends and classmates. We want our youth group to grow in fellowship and accountability for each other, and build meaningful relationships where every person genuinely cares for one another. It is a place where young people can express sadness and concern or to share in celebration and accomplishment

Youth Message: Sin & Shame - Nailed to the Cross!
Genesis 3:8

The Garden of Eden was perfect; Adam and Eve shared a beautiful friendship with God. They fellowshipped with Him on a daily basis; it seemed as though nothing could go wrong.

On an ordinary day, sin and shame took all that away! It got in between the relationship they had developed. The consequence of sin is death...but don’t despair! Isaiah 53:4-6 teaches us that Jesus took all our sin and shame away forever, through the blood of Jesus. He loved us with an eternal love that He surrendered Himself to be pierced for our transgressions. It doesn’t matter what the sin is, the Lamb’s blood is perfect and able to make you whole...if you will believe on Him.

Imitators of Christ
Be imitators of God, therefore, as dearly loved children and live a life of love, just as Christ loved us and gave himself up for us as a fragrant offering  and sacrifice to God. Ephesians 5:1-2
Imitation: is to act exactly the same as a person one admires.
How can we imitate God?
            1) Have a forgiving spirit.
            2) Give yourself up for the sake of others, by serving them.
            3) Offer what Christ gave you to others.
            4) Rid yourself of unholy qualities of the world.
Every ACTION has a REACTION [John 3:16-21]

ACTION: the Word of God exposes sin in your life.                                                         REACTION  is either:Acknowledge it before God and forsake it ,Deny the nudge of the Holy Spirit & draw farther from God

EXAMPLE #1: Matthew 19:16-22

Youth Message: Ruth 1: 11-18
Isn’t it interesting the kind of love that the world so desperately seeks between individuals is found here in the word of God in the book of Ruth. Ruth has a strong emotional attachment to her mother and she makes a rational decision to give up what appears to be best for her, in order to do what is best for Naomi. Jesus put it this way, "greater love has no one than this, that a person should lay down his life for a friend." What Ruth was saying in her response to Naomi, was "I love you and your well being mean more to me than my own." Love is a choice to go in a specific direction for the good of another person. The more we appreciate love as a choice, than a feeling, the more we can build healthy relationships with each other. in our homes, our marriages, and our relationships to others

Here is a boy with five small barley loaves and two small fish, but how far will they go among so many?” John 6:9

God isn’t asking if you’re the best speaker, or the best athlete, or the most confident or the most talented. He doesn’t care about the biggest and the best. He made you who you are, so he knows what you can do. He just wants you to be willing to let him use what you have. What do you have, big or small, that God can use? Sometimes all God wants is you to be willing. Are you willing to give what you have to Jesus?
